Somebody asks you to try this sauce made with chipotle, peanut butter, and bacon, how will you react? The thing is, this chipotle peanut butter bacon sauce is surprisingly incredible. Plus, it was fun to make.

Chipotle Peanut Butter Bacon Sauce?

This sauce may be fantastic, but throughout the process of making it, I felt like a gambling man. I did not know how this sauce was going to turn out.

Furthermore, if this sauce ended up being trash, I would not be telling you all about it. There are recipes that will never see the light of day.

The fact that this is on the Foodzetic website speaks volumes. I still remember that first taste like it was yesterday.

Initially, I was nervous. Peanut butter and brown sugar go well together, but how will this work with bacon? Additionally, I never cooked anything with chipotle chiles and adobo sauce.

Whenever I made a chipotle recipe, I would use chipotle aioli or chipotle powder. So, to use these new ingredients, along with other ingredients I never combined before, was a bit stressful.

No Food Left Behind

I grew up in a household where we did not waste a morsel of food. I can hear my dad right now, “Boy, you better not throw all that food in the trash”.

Likewise, I had those “if you do not eat it all now, you will eat the rest later” type of parents. Growing up in this type of household embedded that mentality in me.

In other words, if I made a bad recipe, I still eat it. Thankfully, even my bad recipes are still edible, and they are usually not that bad.

Just a few tweaks with ingredients and measurements, now the recipe is delicious. I was not quite sure if that was going to be the case with this chipotle peanut butter bacon sauce.

Also, I am not going to force myself to eat food that is not edible. I have to draw the line somewhere. It would have hurt my heart to throw that food in the trash, but that is the risk of being experimental.

Describing The Chipotle Peanut Butter Bacon Sauce

The chipotle peanut butter bacon sauce actually reminds me of bacon jam due to the sweetness that derives from the peanut butter and brown sugar.

All the sweetness is balanced by the flavor that is brought by the chipotle chiles and adobo sauce. Also, the hot sauce gives the mixture a sweet heat flavor.

Last, but certainly not least, the bacon brings everything together.

What Is The Bacon Jam Made Of?

Bacon jam is simple, really. Imagine bacon-flavored jam. That is pretty much bacon jam in a nutshell.

Most bacon jams are made with onions and brown sugar. Of course, you can’t forget the bacon.

Without it, you are eating something different. I do not know what that different thing is, but it is not bacon jam.

Onions are not in the chipotle peanut butter bacon sauce recipe. Be that as it may, I use a food processor to make this sauce, and I do not know any bacon jam recipe that does not use a food processor.

How Many Ways Can You Eat Peanut Butter?

There are plenty of ways to eat peanut butter. You can eat it as a sandwich. You can make chocolate and peanut butter ice cream with it.

Also, you can make some peanut butter wings with some sweet peanut butter sauce.

What Is Adobo Flavor?

Deriving from Spanish Caribbean and Latin Kitchens from across the land, adobo is a delightful seasoning. Also, adobo can be used as an all-purpose seasoning.

Adobo is frequently used to season and marinate food, especially meat.

Is Chipotle Sauce Very Spicy?

Chipotle sauce is not very spicy. It has the right amount of spiciness. If you need something to spice your food up without turning your mouth into flames, then I highly recommend using it.

What Is The Original Adobo?

A long time ago, adobo was cooked in pots made of clay, but now the sauce is more commonly made in metal pots or woks.

Adobo originated from the Filipinos, but the name was given by the Spanish during the 16th century after they invaded and settled in the Philippines.

Fun fact, adobo is the Spanish word for “marinade”.
