The Soft And Fluffy Pizza Dough Recipe Struggle
I love pizza. In fact, pizza is my favorite food of all time. So, you can imagine the despair I felt during the time that I was terrible at making the dough.
Back then, I wish I had an easy pizza dough recipe because making that dough was not easy.
Ironically, It was not easy making the dough that goes in my wallet during those times either.
Every time I tried to make the pizza dough, it would not come out to be a perfectly round sphere. Plus, most of the dough would stick to my hand to the point that I felt like I was wasting food.
Knowing what I know now, I can also say that it did not help to be impatient as well. When you are hungry, impatiences come with the territory. Fortunately, after numerous attempts, I finally got the recipe down to a science.
How Do I Make My Dough Fluffy? Using Active Dry Yeast
To have the fluffiest of dough, make sure that the dough is full of air. To achieve this, let the dough rise after the kneading process. For me, I give the dough an hour to rise at a bare minimum.
Also, after the dough rises for the 1st time, I start kneading the dough again, then repeat the process of letting the dough rise.
Using active dry yeast is immensely helpful in the process as well.
Soft and fluffy goes hand to hand. So, to assist on your journey to making a fluffy pizza dough recipe, let us try to make the pizza dough soft as well.
In my experience making soft pizza dough, I learned that the softness of the pizza dough is based on how moist the dough is. You do not want your pizza dough to be on the dry side, so add water and/or oil to the dough.
On the flip side, too much liquid will cause your dough to be a mess and nearly impossible to knead. With that being said, find a sweet spot and put the perfect amount of liquid in your dough.
Lucky for you, Foodzetic is here to help you out!
What Is The Secret Of Good Soft And Fluffy Dough?
The secret to good pizza dough is using the right amount of every ingredient being used and using good technique.
The ingredients and instructions for this easy pizza dough recipe are provided below, but make sure that you follow the ingredients, measurements, and steps exactly like it is said.
When it comes to pizza dough you can’t cut corners. Not only do all the flavors have to balance each other out, but also, your technique has to be on point.
What I mean by technique is that once the dough is created you have to turn the dough into a perfectly round ball which is easier said than done.
After that, you will seal the dough in a mixing bowl and let it rise. Using active dry yeast this task will be much easier.
Also, let us not forget the technique of actually form the pizza. Using a rolling pin is okay, however, using a rolling pin will push out the air that is in the pizza dough, making the pizza dough less fluffy.
On the contrary, if you are aiming to have a thin crust pizza, then the rolling pin is perfect for you.
Why Is My Soft And Fluffy Dough Not Soft?
Your easy dough pizza is not so easily soft because your dough lacks hydration. That means your pizza dough is drier than a nun’s love life who complains about there are not enough good men in the world.
To the nun community, please do not destroy me, it is just a joke.
Seriously, make sure that there is some type of liquid in your pizza dough, whether you are using water, oil, or both.
Just do not overdo it with the liquids, and your pizza dough will be one step closer to being perfect.
What Kind Of Flour Makes The Best Dough?
As somebody who has been on multiple diets, let me be straight up with you, just stick with the white flour that you are used to.
Almond flour, coconut flour, wheat flour, and any other flour you can think of maybe cool to eat, but it will not compare to white flour.
The best pizza will not be found dieting, however, if you do not mind eating a pizza without the dough, then this recipe will be excellent for you and all your needs!
I introduce you to the crust-less pizza wrap.
Why Does Homemade Pizza Taste Different?
Well, it is time to speak some truth into this pizza world. Homemade pizza is made from scratch, while a franchise pizza restaurant is using store-bought dough and sauce.
By the way, the toppings are not fresh either and some of them are not using active dry yeast.
