Why This Eyeball-tini Cocktail Recipe Was Created
So there I was, minding my business, when all of a sudden Shrek popped up on my T.V.
If memory serves me correctly, he was signing his life away to a creepy little guy who may have a little man complex. Before Shrek started throwing his own paperwork party, he was hesitant to trust the little fellow.
This was the case until he was offered an eyeball-tini cocktail. If that’s what the drink can do, then I need to make an eyeball-tini recipe.
Furthermore, when I made this Halloween martini, I knew it would be dangerous. That one lychee blueberry eye was just staring at me, every time I went to take a sip of my drink.
Do Martinis Have Vodka?
A martini can definitely have vodka in it. In fact, the eyeball-tini cocktail recipe uses vodka as one of the main ingredients.
Is A Martini Just Straight Vodka?
Martinis are just straight vodka for when you want to get as drunk as possible. Other than that, I recommend not to drink vodka straight just because you feel like that is how you drink a martini.
Pertaining to the eyeball-tini recipe, we use vodka, but we also have other ingredients in this Halloween martini. For instance, one of the main components in this drink is lychee juice.
Spoiler alert, the eyeball is made out of lychee and a blueberry. These are harmless ingredients, but putting them together will create eye-popping results.
Is Lychee Good For Health?
Maybe this is ignorant on my part, but I like to say that there are health benefits from eating any kind of fruit, which would include lychee.
Lychees are equipped with multiple antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that will go towards your health moving in a positive direction once the lychee is consumed.
What Does A Lychee Taste Like?
Lychees are sweet and juicy with a citrus hint to them. In fact, lychees have the perfect flavor to go well with a drink. No wonder the eyeball-tini cocktail recipe uses this fruit as an ingredient.
To a certain degree, it reminds me of a strawberry. On a side note, it is pretty cool to be able to place berries inside the lychee. Eating those with berries brings out a whole new flavor.
Just thinking about this makes me want to create a Halloween martini.
