There is nothing like fresh ginger in chocolate. Ironically, that is how the ginger-spiced hot chocolate recipe was made. So, without further wait, let me introduce you to the ginger hot chocolate recipe.

Fresh Ginger In Chocolate

Have you ever had a gingerbread man dipped in chocolate? If you have never tried it, then you should change that immediately.

Traditionally, I was not raised to eat gingerbread with chocolate, however, one day I went ballistic with the holiday desserts.

I had all kinds of desserts on my plate, but of course, that plate included gingerbread and chocolate. Usually, I do not let my food touch each other, but this day was different.

Due to the volume of sweetness on my plate, the chocolate and the gingerbread ended up cross-contaminating with each other.

This combination was a complete accident, but I am appreciative of that accident. Furthermore, that accident created a combination that was much needed in my life.

In other words, I knew then that fresh ginger in chocolate would be good together. Now, I am giving you all this combination in the form of the ginger-spiced hot chocolate recipe.

This Ginger-Spiced Hot Chocolate Recipe Is So Good!

What can I say? Chocolate is fantastic with ginger, especially when sugar is involved.

On that note, this is more of a reason to love this ginger hot chocolate recipe.

Also, it helps that I enjoy drinking both chocolate and ginger beverages. Speaking of ginger beverages, I feel as though chocolate drinks are more common than ginger drinks.

To further elaborate, it is easy to come across chocolate drinks such as chocolate milk, a chocolate latte, a chocolate shake, and so on.

For goodness’ sake, this is a hot chocolate recipe, how much more chocolate can you get?

On the contrary, you do not come across ginger beverages too often. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are ginger beer and ginger ale.

Sure, there are probably thousands of recipes that will create a ginger drink, but if you were to go to your local grocery store, you will probably not have too many options.
