Apple And Lime Mimosa Recipe

Apples and limes together seem like a peculiar combination at first glance. However, if you think about it, the two ingredients together are not that strange.

If you were to try these two ingredients together, you would come to the realization that the flavors are quite compatible.

Moreover, the right amount of sweetness and sourness is excellent for making an incredible drink.

The result was that I was able to make this lime apple mimosa recipe.

Do Lime And Apple Go Together?

Limes and apples go together in more recipes than you may think.

Whether you are making an apple pie, apple cobbler, or any other dessert using apples, it is common to use lime juice in the dish.

One of the reasons that lime juice is put in apple desserts is because lime juice stops the oxidation of the apples.

Stopping the oxidation of the apples is necessary if you do not want your apples from turning brown.

What Are The Benefits Of Apple And Lime?

The combination of apples and lime can be used as an antibiotic that can improve one’s liver function, dissolve gall and kidney stones, and help with constipation.

The vitamin C that comes with this improves immunity and lessens the severity of symptoms that comes from heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis.

Can You Use Apple Juice For Mimosa?

For this lime apple mimosa recipe, we will not be using apple juice. Instead, we will be using apple liqueur and lime juice.

This recipe may not use apple juice, but that does not mean that you can’t use apple juice in your mimosa.

What Fruit Is Good For Mimosas?

I can go down a list of all the fruits that go well with mimosa, but I will keep it simple and say “all of them”.

Every last fruit that you can think of will be great with your mimosa.

How Much Alcohol Is In A Mimosa?

Usually, mimosas and other brunch cocktails are served during a time period when the sun is still up. In this environment, the alcohol intake in the mimosa will be on the low side.

Nobody wants to be responsible for getting people drunk, knowing that there is a possibility they will have to drive home.

With that being said, assuming the alcohol intake will be low is simply speculation. So, do not go too crazy with the drinks at the brunch event.

We do not want to get too sloppy, and we definitely do not need to drink and drive.

This is why the lime apple mimosa recipe has enough alcohol to get you right, but it will not get you too drunk unless you make multiple drinks of this recipe.

On the contrary, if you are making your own mimosas, then you can have as much alcohol in your mimosa as you want.

That triple sec and vodka combination will get you good, and if that’s not enough, then replace the vodka with some Everclear, but let me warn you that Everclear is not for the lightweights.

Drinking Everclear will have you seeing the devil in the middle of the winter.

What Glasses Do You Serve The Apple And Lime Mimosa In?

Mimosas are served in a champagne glass. Does that mean you can only drink mimosas in that glass?

Of course not. You can drink your mimosa out of your hand if you want to, the drink will still get you where you need to be.
