Creating This Easy Oven Baked Asparagus

I can admit, at first I was not the biggest fan of asparagus. Let me rephrase that. I was not a fan of asparagus at all, but I always felt like asparagus had the potential to be good.

The reason why I felt this way is that every time I had asparagus, it was tough and chewy.

While eating the asparagus, I told myself, “I do not think asparagus is supposed to be like this.” Sure enough, I was right.

Once I had asparagus done right, it was an incredible experience. The experience was so incredible that I went and made this easy oven baked asparagus recipe.

So, the moral of the story is that if the asparagus is chewy, then the cooking process was screwy.

Is It Better To Steam Or Roast Asparagus?

Steam vegetables taste so bland to me. I prefer my veggies to be roasted. It tastes better, the textile is better, roasted overall is better than stem.

On the contrary, add the right seasoning to the asparagus, and it will be good regardless of how you cook it.

What Part Of Asparagus Do You Not Eat?

You can almost eat everything that the asparagus has to offer. Remember, the keyword is “almost”. The only part of the asparagus that is not edible is the woody stem that is located towards the bottom.

If your asparagus has this, gently bend the asparagus until the asparagus snap. Next, the woody stem will break off from the asparagus.
