Caramel and chocolate are a great combination. In fact, for that reason, I made the salted caramel hot chocolate recipe.
Such A Sweet Combination
Chocolate and caramel are a sweet combination, maybe too sweet for some. On the contrary, this will be perfect for anyone trying to satisfy their sweet tooth.
This section is about happiness. We all know that a little bit of sweetness can go a long way in making us feel better. But what if you could get more than just a little bit?
The hot chocolate trend has been around for some time now, and it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. Salted caramel hot chocolate is one of the most popular variations of this drink, and it’s easy to see why.
The saltiness of the caramel combined with the sweetness of the chocolate creates an amazing balance that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
Here is a quote by yours truly. “The first time I tried salted caramel hot chocolate, I was hooked. It was the perfect drink to have on a cold winter day, and it always made me feel like I was in a happy place.”
For your information, this is how the salted caramel hot chocolate recipe made me feel without me adding alcohol to it. Shocker, I know right?
What Does Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Taste Like?
We all know that salted caramel is a popular flavor in the food and drink world. From ice cream to coffee and even popcorn, it’s everywhere.
I remembered when I first made this salted caramel hot chocolate recipe. The first thing that struck me about this drink was how rich and smooth it tasted.
Furthermore, this is nothing like your typical cup of hot cocoa.
Is Salted Caramel Just Butterscotch?
Salted caramel and butterscotch are similar to one another. However, salted caramel is made with white sugar, and butterscotch is made with brown sugar.
Why Do Salt And Caramel Go Together?
Why salt and caramel go together is a good question. Maybe you should ask my taste buds that question because salt and sweetness are a great, but tricky combination.
This combination can be tricky for the fact that salt and sweet things are good together, but you have to be careful with the measurement.
Furthermore, it is easy to have too much salt or too much sweetness within this combination.
From all of this, you can tell why some people call this “flavor layering”, but I call it good eating.
