The American Classic Burger Recipe Is An Instant Classic

You can never go wrong with a good old fashion burger. To make the burger is easy, and it does not have a lot going on, but just enough to satisfy anybody’s taste buds.

The American classic burger usually consists of beef, American sliced cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles.

Also, the common condiments used on a classic burger are mayo, mustard, and ketchup.

Mayo or pickles are not my things, so I do not put that on my burger. On the contrary, everything else is good!

I must admit that I can be a little extra sometimes. The American classic burger that I envision may be different from the norm.

For starters, I love meat! Do what you want with that information. I like the Double patties over a burger with just one patty, like this double burger, for instance.

Also, If I have the option, I will always put bacon on my burger. Do you think this American classic burger is different? Nope.

Another Hood Classic. What Is A Classic?

What makes something a classic? “Judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind”, or “remarkably and instructively typical”.

This is the definition that you will find in the handy-dandy dictionary.

Do you want to know what my definition is? A classic is something of high quality that ages like fine wine over time.

In other words, a classic is something that the majority enjoy and years later the content is still relevant.

The word “classic” can be a reference towards music, movies, T.V. shows, etc. Moreover, foods can also be deemed a classic, just like the American classic burger recipe.

When it comes to food, classics are dishes that have been around for ages, and through the years people love them.

Cooking The Beef

Heat the skillet at a medium temperature on a stovetop for a few minutes. While the skillet is heating up, form two beef patties.

Once the skillet is heated, place your patties in the skillet and cook the patties for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, flip the patties over and cook for 6 minutes.

In the remaining 2 minutes, add the sliced American cheese. To ensure that the cheese on top of the patties melt, put some grease from the burger on top of the cheese.

Another option is that you can put the lid on top of the skillet.

Preparing Vegetables

Grab your knife and slice up your vegetables.

Toasting The Buns

Remove the beef patties from the skillet, and replace them with the hamburger buns.
