Heat the skillet at a medium temperature on a stovetop for a few minutes. While the skillet is heating up, form two beef patties.
Once the skillet is heated, place your patties in the skillet and cook the patties for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, flip the patties over and cook for 6 minutes.
In the remaining 2 minutes, add the sliced American cheese. To ensure that the cheese on top of the patties melt, put some grease from the burger on top of the cheese.
Another option is that you can put the lid on top of the skillet.
Preparing Vegetables
Grab your knife and slice up your vegetables.
Toasting The Buns
Remove the beef patties from the skillet, and replace them with the hamburger buns.
Also, remove some grease from the skillet. This will help prevent the buns from getting soggy.
Have the flat side of the buns on the surface of the skillet, and cook the buns for 1 minute, or until desired crispiness.
Assemble The Burger
Once the bun is all nice and toasty, assemble the burger, then dig in.
